Finished

I hand stitched the binding down last night and the Happy Block top sent to me by AnnG is done.

You can find several variations of our HeartStrings Happy Block quilts on my website at this link.

I love my stash and although I don’t have a lot of gold and yellow, I was able to find the perfect binding for this quilt. I couldn’t have done any better had I shopped specifically for it.

  1. The binding is perfect Mary. This is indeed a happy quilt. You have surely set big goals for yourself, and I have no doubt you will accomplish them. I am still puddling along with a few stitches here and there throughout the days. My days beside this beautiful ocean are nearing an end for this year, but I’m still enjoying what is left for me. Best wishes for a great week

  2. All of those yellows and golds look great together. I would have probably had trouble finding a good binding color in my stash too. Good choice!

  3. Great finish, Mary! I love that yellow as a background. That’s something I never think to do but it sure is nice and bright and fun. Nice job, Ann G! ~smile~ Roseanne

  4. It’s odd what we find in our stash. Last week I needed a certain color and I had just enough of a scrap left to do it. This quilt is indeed Happy.

  5. Great Happy quilt. I guess I’m going to have to get busy fussy-cutting all the cute novelty fabrics & start making these blocks. I find an awful lot of inspiration here, Mary!
