Scrap quilts are my favorites and I’ve challenged myself to work more in the scrap and string bins this year. They take longer – sorting and cutting – but it is so worth it. I finished the binding on my Friendship Star quilt tonight.
Brief instructions for my Friendship Star quilt can be found on my website.
Friendship Star is a lovely finish and a beautifully scrappy one!! Nice work…hugs, Julierose
I love it too! Scrap quilts are my favorite also. I am currently busy making Christmas runners for gifts , but the strip bin is calling my name, once I am done with the Christmas gift sewing on to some fun children’s donation quilts and the scrap bin.
Scraps are the best! This is lovely example.
Friendship star is one of my favorite blocks. Great quilt!
Scrappy makes me happy and this one is gorgeous!

Oh yes – so many wonderful scrappy reasons to love this one! It’s a beauty!
Yep!! Well worth the effort, Mary!!
It is beautiful, I love the colors!! I always enjoy making scrappy quilts, especially when I don’t want to think too much about picking colors.
Stunning! I love it!
Love your quilt, it’s bright and cheerful.
Lately when I click the “like” button my click doesn’t register. Don’t know why, but just wanted to let you know there is more appreciation for your posts than can be shown by the like button.
It’s beautiful, Mary!!
