Quilted

#15 of 21 to be quilted by the end of November is done. This is one of Mom’s tops and the pantograph is Water Dance. The quilting looks more prominent in the photo due to the light catching it just right than it actually does in person.

This was a quilt I drafted for Mom to make but who knows, I might make one to donate one of these days so I’ve posted the brief instructions I worked up for her on the website at this link.

The trees are so pretty here now, I had a beautiful view of them from the longarm room while I was working on Mom’s quilt. When the leaves are gone, I’ll have a peekaboo view of the lake from this window.

Since I won’t be binding this little quilt, I’m going to cast on another hat this afternoon. Does this look like 3 weeks of work?! I’ve been making hats since I learned to knit but I’ve never done this many at one time. I’m kind of liking it and I may just end up making October/November hat knitting season! This is all 17 that have been knit so far.

  1. Unbelievable how much you manage to get done. Love the quilt and those hats will make someone very happy.

  2. You get so many things done, you are a inspiration to many. Love the quilt, and what a great stack of hate.

  3. Love seeing your hat pile – well done. Wish I’d taken a photo of my 29 before my daughter took them away! This next lot I’m knitting will be recorded, just to remind me what I’ve achieved 🙂

  4. The sailboat quilt looks so soft and comfortable. And the quilt pantograph is perfect for it! Also love the stack of hats with all the colors and variety of patterns. Thanks for sharing!
