I finished one binding tonight … the Sashed Whales quilt is finished. Brief notes are available on my website.
Tomorrow will be busy doing laundry and packing and getting Finn to boarding but I might get another one bound tomorrow night – we’ll see how the day goes. Now I’m going to cast on a hat to knit on my trip and then I’m heading to bed to read.

Lovely fabrics for this quilt. The pictures of your mother and granddaughter are great, those cakes look delicious.
Mary, Mary, Mary….you keep giving me inspiration to try another pattern you’ve made. I have so many novelties that would look great in this setting–I love it! (Keep up the good work–I really do like all your ideas.)
I just realized that layer cakes would be great for this, I read your pattern and 10” squares are used for the focus fabrics. Thanks Mary.
