My 1000 Pyramid quilt, a UFO from 2017 is finished. I hand stitched the binding down Tuesday night after watching the Lightning win against Montreal in overtime.

Bet you were more interested in hockey than the quilt. Beautiful finish.
love it….beautiful scrappy
I love it—beaitiful quilt, Mary.
Hooray! I know that’s a great feeling to finish that beautiful quilt!!! I have finished piecing a quilt top that I started way back in 2014. It was pushed to the bottom of the list for far too long. Now I am busily picking out papers from it, as many of the blocks were paper pieced. It’s a great thing to do while watching sports on TV!
Love your 1000 pyramid quilt. I started one years and years ago , but thought it was supposed to be 10,000 pyramids – really – my triangles are 1 inch on a side if I remember correctly – could be smaller LOL. I also wanted all the fabrics to be different – yep, really LMAO. It is still a UFO. I pull it out once in a while and work on it. I don’t know if I will live long enough to get it finished. Glad you have more common sense than I do and went for only 1000 pyramids and was able to get yours finished.
I love your pyramid quilt–just so lovely– nice fabric choices
hugs, Julierose
1000 pyramids has always been a favorite of mine and yours is beautiful! The only one I made was before digital cameras and I don’t think I have a photo of it.
Love all those bright fabrics! I’m sure that you’re happy to have that UFO done – and your picture reminded me that I cut out what seemed like 1000 triangles to make this quilt too… I found the pieces a few days ago – I should maybe pull them out and get it done!
It’s a stunning quilt!
Wow, such a pretty quilt!! That UFO gives me hope that I will get some of mine done someday.
LOVE it (& hockey… go, Wings!!! LOL)!!!!!
Such a lovely quilt finish, Mary!!
That’s beautiful. It has heirloom written on it!
I forgot to mention how much I enjoy seeing the quilts you make…and the ones you finish from others…and your hats and Afghans and all your craftiness!
This quilt is wonderful , love the way the colours all work beside each other . The question is , are you keeping it ?
I love this quilt Mary. I think the Gold gives it a beautiful antique feel and white certainly helps the optical illusion
