This small top sent to me to finish by AnnG is bound and ready to donate. I also trimmed another quilt and have it ready for binding, worked on the Strips and Strings Log Cabin blocks, knit on the blue scarf, and took my walk. The upstairs is even more of a mess than it was yesterday and they definitely won’t be done in 3 days (they said it would take 3-5 days) – ugh!

Hope they make it in their estimated time. You guys seem to have set up a nice plan for the time. Love the quilt and you got to knit too. Only a little more painting and they will be done.
Go with the saying ” It has to get worse before it gets better ” . All that prep work to cover everything , will come out much faster than it went down !
It is hard to live through anything like that, I can’t stand the mess and upheaval no matter how much we plan to accommodate it. It will be over soon.
Better to take their time than to make a mess of it!!
Some good comments above – just remember how beautiful it’s going to look once everything is back in place, hopefully by this weekend 🙂 🙂 🙂
That is a very cute little quilt. Hopefully they are doing a great job, even if it takes longer than expected.
Seems like a long time but the patching, repairs and prep takes time. Hope they do a perfect job and you are pleased with the work and color. I’ve always done my own painting but as I age I’m not all that keen on it.
