Maybe all I needed to reset my clock was for Keith to travel? I got to bed early last night (2:30am) and got up early (7:00am). Normally I’d go back to sleep after taking care of Finn but I wasn’t able to so I just got up.
Our HeartStrings challenge this month is 3 yard quilts … mine all take more than 3 yards because I like to make them bigger by adding blocks or changing the borders. I’m doing 9 patches for the first one and I got all 35 blocks made this morning.
This afternoon I ran some errands and went for a hike. It was a beautiful 68 degrees and you can tell it’s spring in North Georgia because the daffodils are in full bloom!
I’m going to sit with Finn and knit a while now.
Love the ninepatch blocks! But how do you survive on so little sleep????
I like your nine -patch color combo. Our daffodils are about one inch high. They won’t bloom until early April,
Daffodils already?!? How wonderful.
Your daffodil picture is just beautiful. You should frame that one.
Sounds like a lovely day, Mary!
Hooray for the reset and the beautiful daffodils.
The first spring flowers always lift my spirits, although those first blooms won’t show up around here for 3-4 weeks yet. Usually it’s tulips, with some crocus and daffodils. Your new 3-yard project looks like it will be bright and cheerfull – perfect for spring.
