I was SO miserable yesterday that it’s kind of unreal what a great day I had today. Finn and I slept late so I was well rested – what a difference that makes. Plus it was a gorgeous day today.
I had lunch outside by the lake

Then did a 4 mile hike to the waterfall and back.

I finished up a few chores around the house and then I loaded and quilted the Map Happy Block top. Pantograph is Flounce. It’s #6 of 10 that I want to get quilted before the end of March.

It’s 9pm now and Keith just arrived home from Minneapolis and the Lightning game is about to start. He poured me a glass of wine and I’ve pulled out my knitting — a perfect end to a perfect day!
I like the fabrics in this quilt, I think Male would like this.
Wow I love your day! Glad it was a good one.
Sounds like you had a very full and wonderful day!! Always nice when that happens.
I hate a day after no or bad sleep, it makes me so cranky. Everything I touch seems to go wrong the next day. I am glad you got a good night sleep the next day and you had a good day. Lunch at the lake sounds so nice, still too cold in CT for outside but did get a walk in at 39 degrees.
What a difference a good night’s sleep can make. Every part of our body needs refreshing sleep. It’s amazing…especially if you are dealing with health issues. It looks as though you had a wonderful “makeup” day. I’m so happy for you.
Sounds like a great day and night 🥰
Such a pretty area for a hike and lunch. Good for you!
Glad you enjoyed a good and productive day. Mary!! Welcome back, Keith. Enjoy your weekend, you two!
Yeah, days do that. I’ve had some doozies around here lately. I hope things quiet down and I can be productive next week.
