Finished

I love hitting a goal! #10 is bound and I’m all set to travel on Sunday morning. This bricks quilt is another top pieced by Sue and sent to me to quilt and donate.

I

I’ll be gone almost a week and that last few days of June I have some piecing planned. Then I have company coming for the long July 4th weekend … and after that I’ll be back to my quilting marathon. My goal was 12+ tops quilted by the end of July so I’m sure to hit 12 and get a few extras done too.

  1. Such a beautiful quilt. Love Kaffe Fassett. Some of those large-scale florals are so big that when you cut them up into blocks, there’s barely any repetition and the whole thing coordinates beautifully. I made the same layout for Christmas for my daughter last year, but my colored blocks were scrappy string blocks. I foundation pieced them onto old notebook paper and used a stitch length of 1.5. The paper tore right off. It was a fun project

  2. Any chance that Bricks pattern is available from one of the free resources? Really like that pateer and the color choices in the one you finished.
