It was a beautiful day in the mountains and we went out this afternoon and enjoyed the weather and Octoberfest.
We made a few purchases from the booths but my favorite was this painting of the covered bridge near the main entrance. It’s one of the iconic Big Canoe sites. Keith even got it hung for me.
I worked a little when we got home and then went down this evening and finished up the binding on the Pink Flannel Squares quilt.
I knit some after finishing the binding and Hat #4 should be done tomorrow.

What a lovely painting! There was a small annual Oktoberfest in the downtown area here on Saturday, but we didn’t go. I would have enjoyed the food and lovely fall weather, and live music.
