Oktoberfest

It was a beautiful day in the mountains and we went out this afternoon and enjoyed the weather and Octoberfest.

We made a few purchases from the booths but my favorite was this painting of the covered bridge near the main entrance. It’s one of the iconic Big Canoe sites. Keith even got it hung for me.

I worked a little when we got home and then went down this evening and finished up the binding on the Pink Flannel Squares quilt.

I knit some after finishing the binding and Hat #4 should be done tomorrow.

  1. Very cute, your american Octoberfest!! In Munich have been a few people more! My daughter loves it to buy a new Dirndl and go to the Octoberfest , but I don’t like it.Greetings from Bavaria! Elisabeth

  2. What a beautiful day you had. I love Fall and all the colors, and covered bridges! Wonderful painting! And such a cute, quick and easy quilt. Sometimes the simple ones are the cutest and coziest.

  3. The pink quilt is so pretty. I don’t own much pink. Love fall and the colors that it brings. How did you make the photo appear circular?

  4. What a lovely painting! There was a small annual Oktoberfest in the downtown area here on Saturday, but we didn’t go. I would have enjoyed the food and lovely fall weather, and live music.
