Another binding stitched down and my Fishy version of the Birds on a Wire quilt is done. I drafted this pattern for Mom in 2010 … 12 years later I decided to make one too. It’s a nice easy one to feature a focus fabric.
The weather is too beautiful to stay inside this weekend and I did a couple easy walks with Keith and we had lunch by the lake today. I still can’t walk far and I’m really missing my hikes and can’t wait until my back and leg issues are resolved and allow me to get back on the trails. For now, I’m grateful that there are a couple nearby places that are easier to navigate than the trails.
