We arrived home yesterday evening and I thought I’d get a binding done but I was much too tired so I finished up the two hats I’d worked on during my trip instead.
This was a good one to take along – just mindless 2 x 2 rib with no need to look at the pattern until time for the crown decreases. This is also a free pattern found on Ravelry – Icebreaker hat

In spite of some travel challenges and illnesses (a cold for Keith and sinus/migraine for me) we did enjoy the trip to Tampa… going to the Bolts game, visiting with neighbors, and wandering around some of our favorite places along the bay and river walk. We decided we’ll plan a visit next year around the same time when I’m due for my next check up at Moffitt.

I’m going to run pick up Finn from boarding and maybe get a little binding done today after spending some time cuddling with him.
Your hats look great. The river view is so pretty, I love water.
You made the most of the travel Mary, and now it is time to relax and snuggle at home. Winter solstice always means settling in to winter parrerns for me, cosy home times, lots of soup making, and good reading in between my quilting times. E joy your day
This is much more my color and it looks a little bolder in texture which makes a totally different style from the last one.
