Assembled

I finished up the scrappy Easy Flock of Geese top. I just love scrap quilts!

I got out before lunch for an easy walk. It’s been rainy the last few weeks so it’s nice to be outside with the sun shining!

Then Keith met me for lunch by the lake. It was a little cool and breezy but again, nice to be out in the sunshine after all the rain!

Later in the afternoon, I spent some time sorting and precutting some strips and strings for a scrappy Rail Fence … precutting them all to about 10.5 inches makes the piecing go really fast and then the blocks are squared up to 9.5 inches.

Now I’m going to sit and knit a while.

  1. Easy Flock of Geese is beautiful. I need to try this pattern.
Don’t you love the color of the sky? I would buy that color in fabric in a split second.
Glad you were able to get out. Thanks for posting.

  2. Mary, I admire your inspiration and dedication to the projects you’ve finished as well as those you’re working on . Such beautiful work!

  3. I’d forgotten how fabulous you “Strips & Strings” Rail Fence pattern was! I see at least 1 in my near future!
