This one won’t be to everyone’s taste but I love scrap quilts, I love rail fence quilts, and I love using leftover strips and strings so it’s a win for me!

Our challenge on HeartStrings for January is scraps so this is top #2 for me. Brief instructions for the Strips and Strings Rail Fence quilt can be found on the website at this link.
LOVE this one!! Need to save this idea because my scraps are starting to overwhelm me. I just can’t throw away anything unless it’s less than 1.5” square. I have odd bits of strips that “lean” this way and that. This is the perfect way to use them up👍👍.
Love it and the fact that every scrap can get included…no waste and can keep someone warm.
Whooee! I love it. The bright blues just make it sing. 👏👏👏
This is very much to my taste & I can’t wait to make one (having been inspired by this beauty)!
I love scrap quilts Mary. A lot of flannelette scraps have been made into rail fence baby size quilts, and a couple sized for an older child. They are definitely fun to make, and cosy to own.
It’s very beautiful and the blue fabrics give it a ZING!
It’s very much to my taste!
I love these kind of string quilts too Mary. No scrap left behind! They are quick, easy, and it’s fun to revisit some of the fabrics. They make great no fuss warm coverings that can be used to the fullest.
LOOOOVE it!!!!
