I’ve said before that I’m not one to precut my scraps into different sizes because I like to have options when it comes to what I piece with them but I do like to cut more than one quilt when I’ve got them out. Earlier this month I pieced a scrappy Easy Flock of Geese and I cut squares for a scrappy hourglass quilt that were all ready to shoot through the GO.
I debated just making the blocks and setting them aside for now since I can’t bend to put them all on the design wall due to my back surgery but since each colored and background square combo makes 2 blocks … I decided I’d put half the blocks on the design wall and assemble them and then move that section to the bottom of the design wall and arrange the 2nd set of blocks. The blocks are all pieced and I have half the blocks up on the design wall ready to assemble.

There was also a little knitting and a little crochet today – my blanket stitch crochet afghan is almost done!
Adjustments will work! Hard to remember but so glad you are working on it.
Such a pretty quilt, great one for a young man.
I love it! The color combination is perfect!
Hourglass blocks are terrific, in any size. This set is looking so good together.
What a great easy quilt to do. Creativity often solves our issues. Half a quilt works just fine. Hope you are getting better every day.
