Our whaling trip the other day left from Lāhainā and we decided to go back today and wander around the historic whaling town. I think my favorite part was the park with the massive Banyan Tree. My photos don’t even begin to show how large it was with so many different trunks … you’d think it was many trees, not just one.

I have sat right under that banyan tree. There is a great breakfast place on the corner too.
Lahaina is a fun place to explore. I was there many years ago: it’s great to see that the large banyan tree is still thriving.
I saw the Banyan tree in 1982. Glad to know it is still there and looks to be thriving after 40 years!
