Goodbye Maui

It was a great trip but I’m ready to go home! Our hotel was an hour from the airport but that’s not a problem with such a scenic drive.

Its funny, we saw a small dog in the airport and it reminded me of when we traveled with Chesty. He was a very good travel companion … Finn has yet to fly anywhere with us and he’s a bit more high strung than Chesty was so I’m not sure how that would go.

And even funnier … this showed up in my memories today. I was packing for Maine and Chesty climbed right in the bag and said take me too!! I miss this sweet boy so much!

  1. They burrow their way into your heart so that we never forget them. I miss my Kody even though I have Karlin and love him to bits. The hard part of pet ownership is the final parting of them going over the rainbow bridge.

  2. I’ve read all your emails from the past week. What a lovely place to spend time with friends, relax and enjoy the views. Hope your health issues are all gone now. Your Chesty photo made me smile – such a sweet dog 🙂

  3. Chesty was indeed a much larger influence in your life. I do remember that you are looking forward to seeing Finn. So your life has had varied doggie friends and that makes me happy.

  4. Me again
Looking at your picture gallery it is the churn dash that has the 2 different background.

  5. Glad you enjoyed your trip! This is when we should have a <3 button not just a like button. I love the memories of sweet Chesty, I miss him too! Finn will be so excited to see you two are home! <3
