Finished

Kind of a lazy day but I still have a finish. The Ripple Afghan is done AND the Lightning won tonight. They’re having a tough time right now so I was happy for the win. This is a free pattern found on Ravelry that I’ve used over and over … sometimes I crochet in the back loop which creates the ridges that you see in this one and sometimes I crochet in the whole stitch. Both look good.

Keith and I also did a walk at the Meadows. He asked me how many pictures I needed of the deer and I told him I’d never have enough! They were out in force today.

My basket is getting full – there are 5 in there now … another Afghan or two and some of the kiddie quilts that I’m going to finish up in the next few weeks and I’ll have another donation ready.

  1. That’s a beautiful blanket, I love the colors. Spring is coming and the animals are out, I love your deer pictures. Taking a walk into the country sounds so nice.

  2. Your afghans are gorgeous – anyone would be thrilled to have! Looks like a great day for a walk outside!
