I’ve been meaning to share this website/secret with you all. I find myself using it all the time. Have you ever gone to a website with a free pattern but found it challenge to even find the content among all the ads much less print it?
Print Friendly allows you to create a print file or even better, a PDF file that you can save for later.

I’ve added the browser extension to my toolbar on the iPad and it’s so simple to create and save instructions. I use it for saving free knitting and crochet patterns as well as the bear patterns I’ve been finding.
Even if I end up not saving a file, it’s just so much easier to read through the instructions without all the ads.
Cool, Mary! Thank you for sharing this information. Some websites are so annoying, I don’t even bother to try to read their instructions. This is handy! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
Yes. That is a good find. I’ve been using that for a couple of years. I like that you can delete things prior to creating the .pdf file.
I also love Print Friendly and use it often. Some blog pages have a Print Friendly button to click, put there by the blogger. Another option, at least in Safari, is to use Reader view. But sometimes that misses parts of the page. Print Friendly is better.
Thanks for the “secret.” Where do you actually STORE all of those documents on your iPad? I’ve been using Books, but wondering what other options are out there. Suggestions?
Oh this is going to be so useful, particularly for food recipes! Thanks Mary
Thank you, Mary! This is going to be very useful. Can’t wait to investigate and use it.
I use the Print Friendly website a lot, especially on sites that have annoying ads.
This seems like the answer to a prayer. Some of my favorite bloggers have so much clutter and flashy videos that it’s really hard to focus on what I went there for. I’ll give this a try. Thanks!
