I decided to go with 16 patch blocks for the leftover fat quarter pieces. Keith has already given this one a thumbs down but I think it will be OK.

I’d hope to finish up the blocks and get a top loaded on the longarm but Keith invited his brother to play pickleball tomorrow after work and his wife decided she’d come too so I needed to get some housework done today. We did manage to hang up my birthday presents from Adam. I LOVE these pictures he drew of Chesty and Finn so much, it was a great present!!

Adam captured Chesty and Finn perfectly! He’s very talented.
I agree!!! What a talented young man!!!
Adam is as talented as his Momma. Love the pictures they are so realistic. Enjoy your guests.
Great pictures of your dogs. I have my dresser covered with pictures of my pets and I love to look at them. Play around with the blocks and give them your magic.
He is talented, and knows what a perfect gift to give you.
I give your16 patch blocks a thumbs up. I like them!
Love the pictures of Chesty and Finn. Perfect birthday present. He did a great job capturing them. So Talented.
I like the quilt thus far. Adam is so talented and the portraits represent the personalities of the pups.
Beautiful pictures of Chesty and Finn. Such a nice gift.
I can draw a stick figure. That’s it. And I am in awe of people who can draw and paint. Adam is absolutely amazing! Both of your boys are extremely talented.
Oh my! I absolutely love the pictures of Chesty and Finn! And they look like they”re in the perfect spot. Your 16 patch is coming along nicely too.
Great dog portraits – capturing a dog’s expression and spirit is a very distinct gift – I’m thinking of Jamie Wyeth – distinguished company indeed.
I like the 16 patch – interesting color choices.
