One for the road!

I started a new scarf today to take along on our trip to Virginia. It’s a free pattern from LionBrand found here.

I also visited the newly renovated local library … I plan on spending some time there as I “write” the genealogy book about my Mom’s family. I finished Dad’s family book several years ago and now it’s time to get Mom’s written.

Afterwards, there was a little relaxing/reading at the local Dunkin’ Donuts! The sky looked threatening but it was nice day to sit outside and read.

  1. Love the scarf, especially the color! Libraries haven’t played a big part in you blog since you returned south and I missed your love for them.

  2. I’m interested in hearing more about your genealogy book-writing. I’ve been searching my parents’ family histories for nearly 30 years, but never thought about writing about it. Do tell!

  3. I am loving the color of this but didn’t see it listed or anything that looked fairly similar? Could you please give us the color name or item SKU? I would love a scarf for the few cold/cool days we get here in the desert during our short winters!

Glad you had a wonderful trip and that you are all home safely!
