I had to laugh at the comments about how neat my sewing room was …. I explained that it was only neat because I’d cleaned up when I was rearranging the room! After the new cabinet comes tomorrow I’ll be back to sewing and it will get messy again.
I spent some time downstairs cutting leftover backing pieces into usable strips for string quilts and knitting and then we went to a pickleball social … I don’t play but Keith is kind of obsessed!
They hadn’t done much more than warming up before the storms rolled in …
We did stay and eat and drink and socialize but the courts were too wet for them to go back and play so we were home earlier than expected … Gus and Finn were happy about that!
We haven’t taken up pickle ball either, but we have friends who do play. One of the cousins this weekend at the reunion was telling me she met her gentleman friend on the pickle ball court. She’s been widowed for 19 years, and is in love again – with pickle ball and the guy. 🙂
Pickle Ball is gaining popularity here. I don’t think my knees would allow me to play.
