Mo sewed another one of her animals today with help … we had to use eyes that Chris had made for my bears because the ones in the package were damaged but it worked.

She’s also learning to use the machine … with me pushing the pedal for her. I blurred out the project she’s working on because it’s a surprise.

And I added a border to the last of the 24 block group HeartStrings quilts sent by Sue. There’s still 5 of that batch to quilt and 5 donation tops from Linda so I’ll be busy the rest of the month finishing them up.

Another fun activity has been working on puzzles … and these she gets to color first! I found the 3 pack at Joann’s.

Mo will be making quilts in no time. She is adorable.
She’s having a blast with grandma isn’t she? The smiles say it all.
Mo is making wonderful memories during her stay.
I love the big eyes! Mo will be very proud of her surprise project.
Awwwww! So darned cute!!!
Cute owl and the eyes are perfect. The quilt is cute but not one of my favorites. Puzzles are so much fun for little especially since she gets to cold them first. Keep having fun!
My Janome has a stop/start button which is how my grands learned to sew. Slow speed for sure but so much easier than them on my lap working the foot pedal.
What fun you are having with Mo and what a great and productive summer she’s been having with you!
