It rained a good part of the day and we had a lazy Sunday around here. There was reading, games, a movie, a couple TV shows, and some crochet. I did find the energy to cook dinner!
I debated going downstairs and sewing ends in on the shell blanket and the blue scarf after Keith and Finn went to bed but I picked up the ripple instead and put on my audiobook. I’ve mentioned that I LOVE this combination of yarn and pattern. This is just my second Rumpled Ripple blanket but there will be plenty more. I enjoy crocheting it, I have a stash of the Mandala yarn AND it’s pretty easy to find on sale at Walmart.

Tomorrow it will be back to work – those tops aren’t going to quilt themselves!
No they won’t quilt themselves. I am having trouble quilting now so I know the stacks just keep getting bigger as they wait. Glad you had a nice relaxing Sunday.
The texture on that shell blanket is really pretty. How many mandala do you use for each blanket. I will be traveling and that would be a great project to take along. Thanks!
I have been making lots of lap quilts and baby quilts too. I don’t have a long arm so I need to use my domestic machine. It’s way too hot to deal with those so I’m stacking them up for fall. I’d rather piece than quilt anyway. You appear to accomplish much more than I do. You are neater too! Thanks for sharing.
Such a pretty crochet pattern, with great texture. We had a rainy day yesterday too and got about 2″ by noon. My daughter in Sioux Falls got over 4″, and there were places that saw over 10″. That’s really crazy amounts for this part of the country.
LOVE the 9-patch quilt peeking out from under your crochet. But then I don’t think I’ve ever met a 9-patch quilt I didn’t like!
