I’m a lazy crocheter … I want simple patterns and the fewer ends to weave in the better. It was time to start the next blanket and I’d decided to look for a new pattern to try. I liked the look of the Houndstooth stitch but there was no way I was going to change yarn every row and weave all those ends in … so I decided I’d crochet two rows with each color and carry the yarn up the side. So far I’m liking it.
Mo would be proud of me, I’ve had this yarn for years and knew I wanted to make something striped but never could decide on a pattern.

It’s really pretty and I guess I’m a lazy at crochet too. I dislike any part of weaving ends and usually do it with a smaller hook. This yarn looks great with this pattern.
