We took a drive this afternoon to Fort Mountain State Park and hiked a bit. There are some beautiful views!

On the way home we stopped for Apple Slushies … Yum! And then I sewed a bit, finishing up the blocks for my bears/foxes/trees and triangles quilt. I don’t expect to have time to assemble it before we leave for Maine but I’m happy to have gotten this far on it.
I’ve had some questions about this one so I posted brief notes here.

Thank you for sharing
Apple slushies !?!?!?
Beautiful hike!! and Apple Slushies… sounds yummy and very fall like!
That is a really cute quilt layout. Apple Slushies sound fabulous! I’m hoping once I get this second hip replacement that I can begin to enjoy walking again.
Which accuquilt die did you use to cut the triangles?
What a great use for a directional print! I have some in my stash, but I find them hard to use. I’ll keep this design in mind!
I like this design a lot. I can see it in many colorways – Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Flag season. Very versatile! Thanks, Mary
Beautiful views and a fun change of pace for hiking. Still love the quilt.
