Had my first lobster roll tonight … along with bacon wrapped, maple glazed scallops …. Yummy!! DiMillo’s is always one of the first places we visit when we get to Maine.
We went there years ago with Keith’s dad and it brings back great memories for us. I even got Mom there a few years ago when she visited us here in Maine.
Looks like a place that could be one of my favorites.
I love a good Lobster Roll, here in Connecticut a hot Lobster roll is popular, but I prefer a cold Lobster roll.
I could live on seafood, and Maine has some really fabulous options. Lobster rolls and scallops – made my mouth water.
It’s nice to have a special place to return to. Hope you enjoy wonderful stay in Maine.
As much as I look forward to meeting the Canadian quilters at the Quilts for Survivors retreat in two weeks, I will miss attending the HeartStrings sew-in. The Canadian event includes a traditional Feast with Moose but nothing will compare with the Lobster Rolls of Maine!
