I both like and dislike this pattern and I might not make it again although I’ve said that several times before. The purl ridges do not line up in the back of hat when knit according to the pattern so I tried a method used in knitting jog-less stripes and it does line up a little better … not perfect but better.
I try not to whine about my health too much on the blog – I know I’m luckier than many people but these last few months have been quite the challenge and I’m tired of all the medical appointments/scans/procedures etc … unfortunately my surgery that was scheduled for Monday was postponed today at the last minute and I’ve got more testing ahead before I am cleared for surgery. It’s been tentatively rescheduled for mid January. Things could be a lot worse so I’ll distract myself with sewing, knitting, and crochet and try not to let it all get me down.
