The framed 9 patch blocks got assembled today and I’m happy with how it turned out. I have brief instructions on my website for making one of these from fat quarters but this one was pieced from a Jelly Roll.
After assembling the framed 9 patch I should have worked on something else on my list but I’ve made good progress the last few days so I let myself play in my strings. It will be a quick Strips and Strings Rail Fence and I’ll keep piecing the blocks this week in between quilting and binding.
And on this beautiful Easter day, I also got out for a nice long hike on my favorite trail.
