Downstairs

Yay for a few hours spent downstairs today.

I sat piecing 16 patch blocks and gazed out my window now and then enjoying the lingering autumn colors.

As I cut blocks I thought about how nice it is to have my whiteboard above my sewing table. For years when we were in Tampa I talked about doing it but it wasn’t until we bought the house here at Big Canoe that I actually had Keith hang one. So much nicer to have my project notes right there than on stickie notes!

And after sewing a while, I saw downstairs and worked on my shell stitch afghan while Finn chewed his bone.

And now that Keith and Finn have headed to bed, I’m going to knit a while.
