Well, it’s been a weekend of shopping for us … first up we bought a new mattress, Keith didn’t like the one here … complained it didn’t give him enough support. That will arrive on Tuesday.
Then today, we stopped in at a furniture store … we’d been talking about needing a kitchen island here … I need more prep space … or possibly a small counter height table. We found a table that will also serve as extra prep space too. We’re used to the kitchen being wide open … I’m hoping it doesn’t make the space seem crowded. It comes with 2 chairs and Keith seemed happy with it too. This will be delivered next week.
After that, I came home and fixed us a yummy Waldorf chicken salad for dinner and then spent some time in the sewing room. I’ve got the walking foot on so I’m going to work on the 4 … now 3 little quilt tops I brought here first … I hate changing the foot back and forth!
I’ve got 2 ready for binding during my visit with Mom tomorrow …. One I quilted at home and one was quilted today. If all goes as planned you should see them laid out with their critters tomorrow.
After I finish up the other 3 little quilt tops … I’ve got a bag full of 3 yard bundles to play with!
