Donation day

You all know I love my hat knitting and since I’ve been donating them at my oncologist’s office, I’ve been getting lots of great feedback. I donated another batch of 12 today when I went in for my appointment and they were thrilled to accept them and even told me they had a fund if I got low on yarn. I laughed and told them about Mo – “Gram, you don’t need more yarn!”

These are some of the recent ones on my Ravelry page … including some of the 12 I donated today … there have been 36 in total so far this year.

I will have little quilts and critters and crochet blankets to add to that donation list when I get back from VA in mid-May AND there will be some quilt donations in June. I’m still working slower than normal although I’m trying to accept the “new” normal and I’m even treating myself to a library day!

My appointments are “in town” and take 30 minutes to an hour to get to depending on where they are and since I’m already out and about, I’ve starting to take some time for myself.
