Site icon Making Scrap Quilts from Stash

Downstairs

You might wonder if I’m getting any sewing/quilting time in between all my outings and hat knitting and I am.

Today, one group quilt trimmed and a binding fabric pulled from stash. One quilt loaded on the longarm for quilting next week.

I’ve got two ready for binding and I’ll work on that some this weekend.

I dug in the novelty scrap bin looking for some larger scraps to use in the Little Quilts. I’m going to talk with Mom and see if she’s interested in any of these and will take them with me to VA next month to kit up for her … and I’ll piece at least a couple more little quilt tops before I go.

Plus I’ll need to set aside a day to pair the ones I have with battings and backings. This is just such a great project for me to work on when I’m in VA.

As you can see, still plenty of those novelty scraps in the bin!
