This afternoon I pulled out little quilts and paired them with critters. They’re all wrapped up and ready to donate.

Some of these were donated during our HeartStrings project earlier this year … and some were made by my Mom. I need to get some of mine finished for the next batch in a couple months.
I just love these. Walmart used to have such cute, nicely made animals at Christmas time back in the day. I just don’t have the cute ones anymore. About 20 years ago, I got a long pine garland from Michaels, a triple strand of red, green, and white lights and wove it into the garland. I got about 6-8 critters and wrapped two pieces of the wired pine branches around them to hold them into place. I have a big floor-to-vaulted ceiling fireplace, and I hung that garland on the side of it. It is so pretty and merry with the lights on. My grandson called it “Happy Family”.
What a variety of huggies and critters. They are all adorable. Well done!
Adorable!
These sure are cute Mary. Everyone did such a great job making these little quilts.
Love the animals you chose. The bunny is almost too big, buy if anything he is too cute.
Make that “but if anything”
Those are so cute Mary. I think about how some little one will love theirs. Thank you for brightening little lives.
Oh, they are so cute! I’m really partial to the big headed frog.
