I thought I was going to get some work done in the sewing room today … instead I ended up playing 🙂

I was planning to assemble the 16 patch top but I’d forgotten I’d laid out the leftover pieces for a critter quilt so I played instead and assembled another little quilt top.

I even found a nice flannel back for it. One of the unused king size pillowcases that came with a set of our flannel sheets. We don’t use them so I’ve been cutting the ones I have up and using them for the backs of little quilts.

Then, I decided I’d cast on a scarf … I’ve got two blankets waiting for ends to be woven in and 2 hats in progress but my favorite travel project is knitting a scarf and we’re going to spend the first week of February in Tampa so I needed to get to work. I’ll make some more progress tonight watching the Lightning game and then set it aside for the trip.

I haven’t knit this one in a while (2023) but it’s a favorite of mine.
