I can’t stand to have my design wall empty so I started making 9 patch blocks so I could put the Hexagon flowers up on the wall as I appliqué them. It’s going to be a simple little quilt but I just couldn’t stand the thought of tossing those flowers!

I also got one of the Charm Square quilts trimmed and the binding machine stitched on, I’m working on hand stitching the binding down now so I’m making progress on April’s goals.
Will it be a sweet little baby quilt?

Such a cute quilt!! I need to learn how to appliqué. I am working on a heart baby quilt. The blocks are all hearts from Jenny Doan’s, Missouri Quilt Company tutorial. I am making it scrappy with a bright and happy jelly roll I already had. I will sash the blocks and put a piano key border made with the same fabric around. it. But I do love the look of appliqué.
