It’s breaking my heart not to be in Maine this evening but it felt so good to do something so normal this afternoon – watching football and even better watching the Vikings win. There was even some easy knitting on a scarf during the game!
It feels unbelievable that just a week ago we were in Minneapolis driving by the stadium.

Keith went downstairs with me this afternoon and helped move and dig through bins and I’ve got some easy things lined up to work on starting tomorrow. I can’t wait!
Felt very good having the Vikings win and especially when it was over the Packers! Glad you are getting around some.
So glad your body is cooperating-take it easy and finish recuperating. I miss Maine, too, even though it has been several years since my last visit. Celebrating some rain today in Southern California!
Please enjoy yourself to the level you know is safe. Nothing worse than injuring yourself worse and postponing real recovery. I bet you can guess why I gave you this advice. Palm to forehead forcefully.
SEW glad to hear that you might be up to some quilting tasks tomorrow, Mary!!
It really was fun to see the Vikings with over Green Bay today. I recorded the game so Dave could watch it when he got home from the golf tournament. Glad you will be able to get a little sewing time tomorrow. Take care!
Mary, it’s so great to read that you are finally starting to heal! Keith must be so relieved to be able to help you prepare to sew again. It’s very scary when your spouse can’t do anything to take your pain away. You have been in my daily prayers and will continue to be.
Mary, so sorry to read that you have been going through such a rough time with your health! I am just now reading up on your hospital stay and hopefully recovery!! Husband and I had been visiting our son’s family in Yarmouth for 9 days and while there we visited Marden’s in Scarborough. What a true fabric find and I was thinking of you while shopping!! We also ate at the Lobster Shack at Two Lights, Cape Elizabeth – so beautiful on the water. Sorry you will not be in Maine, it is so lovely there, but you will be back – can’t keep a sewing sister down!! Take care of YOU!
