I’ve been searching for a couple days for a new crochet pattern and decided to give this Rumpled Ripple one a shot. It’s a free pattern I found on Ravelry.

I really like the texture and the pattern is easily memorized although it took me a few rows to realized I hadn’t read the beginning and ending decreases correctly so I was having to fudge things but I soon figured it out and all is well. I underlined the part I missed about the decreases being the first and last stitch of the cobble pattern so I don’t make the same mistake the next time I make this one.

Pretty pattern. Aren’t self-striping yarns fun to knit/crochet!
You sure find great patterns on Ravelry!! Really appreciate you sharing your finds!!!

So pretty!
The texture is definitely special on this. Beautiful choice!
It is definitely a lovely pattern — but I quit trying to do ripple patterns years ago. I have on I’ve started several times and just haven’t done it correctly. So on to other projects! Have fun with this one — I love its texture.
