I started piecing my blocks for our precut challenge yesterday …this month’s challenge is Jelly Rolls which is always a fun one for me … but I didn’t think it through before I started sewing and decided pretty quickly it wasn’t working for me so I switched plans and pieced framed 9 patch blocks. I’ve been meaning to make this one again although I wasn’t planning another blue version.
I’ll leave these up for a few days while I quilt a couple tops – that gives me a chance to glance at it now and then and decide if I want to switch any more blocks around.

Looking good. Always a classic.
This is my favorite. I just love the blues 💙
Looks nice.
Blue is by far my favorite color, and these blocks make my heart sing!
Pretty!
Love all the blues.
This one is a winner. I love it!
Oh, Mary! I love, love, love that “Framed 9 Patch” & I’m not even a “blue” person. 😆
love it cant beat a classic blue and white
Have you taken a grayscale photo?
This had been similar to my original plan for my framed 9-patches. However, I discovered that I didn’t have enough jelly roll strips to reverse the colors. I really like how yours looks.
Hi Mary, I really like this framed 9 patch quilt design and I think the blocks are perfect.
A framed 9-patch is always a great option.
You have a great assortment of blues!
