Kind of beige/brown

I had things I could have been doing to get ready to quilt next week but it’s my birthday so I “allowed” myself to start a new quilt. I’d found a set of fat quarters and yardage I’d kitted up last January and I decided it was time to use them.

Several years ago I bought a kit at Connecting Threads called Stop and Walk … it’s no longer available but I used the same blocks for this one. A framed square and rail fence blocks.

I got all the blocks made and even got the top assembled! It might be too beige/brown for some people but I like it.

The quilt doesn’t use a lot of the fat quarters so I’ll be adding in some golds and making a second quilt. Probably a 16 patch but I haven’t decided for sure.

  1. Happy Birthday Mary! It’s ‘Chers birthday also. Funny thing- I was just cutting some homespuns and black to make the same stop and walk pattern.
