The 16 Patch quilt is done. It’s #6 to be bound. Lots of quilting and binding left to do but I’m happy with the results so far.

Three more will be quilted this coming week but I also hope to take an afternoon and spend it at the library working on my Mom’s family history book.
Here’s to a great quilt. Hope your library afternoon is productive.
A family history book – that’s a big project, but so rewarding. My sister-in-law and I scanned photos and did the writeups for her mother’s family. The book is spiral bound and 2″ thick. That was in 1997, and the people coming to the big family reunion that summer could order and purchase it. I noticed a couple of the cousins had their copy with them at the cousin reunion a week ago. I’ve been tucking every wedding invitation, baby announcement, graduation announcement, and obituary into it ever since. Such a terrific resource for family.
So pretty!
