Kathy in WI is having a sew-in Monday and I’m sewing along from home. I miss being able to attend them in person. The group is working on veteran quilts so I pulled out some yardage for a quick one. I’m trying to stay focused on my quilting and binding this summer AND I’m piecing the Happy Blocks for our precut challenge too so it needs to be easy and fast.
I’m having trouble again sleeping at night and I’m pretty slow to get moving in the morning so I decided I’d start my quilt tonight and then when I head down tomorrow, I won’t feel like I’m getting a late start. The first two rows are already sewn together so with luck tomorrow I’ll finish piecing the chain blocks and get the rest of it assembled.

Love your fabric!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.
That will be a terrific veteran quilt. Sleep issues can sure impact your whole day. A couple of weeks ago I had several nights in a row with insomnia, which is unusual for me.
It’s very pretty Mary. I hope your sleeping gets better.
I love your quilt! It is one of the prettier ones that I have seen. I feel your pain with sleep issues! It’s a nasty problem,
