One last finish before we head out tomorrow. I’m calling this one Autumn Bricks. I had a kit from Connecting Threads and didn’t intend to make the pattern that came with it. I debated using 6 inch bricks like my Forest Bricks quilt but the cuts in the kit were quarter yards so the 8 inch bricks made better use of the fabric.
I still have a ton of kits and precuts that I bought from Connecting Threads and Craftsy/BluPrint during a 3 and a half year period when I lived apart from my stash. I don’t know if I’ll ever get them all sewn up but I’m trying! And look at all this fabric left … I’m betting that by adding a background fabric I can probably get another quilt from it even if I have to add a few pieces from stash.
For such a simple pattern, this sure made into a striking quilt. I love those bright fabrics.
