I had some time downstairs today and my Raindrops blocks are done!

I tossed them up on the design wall tonight and will study them a bit to see if I need to move any around before assembling them. With only 6 different fabrics the biggest challenge is to distribute the blocks fairly evenly throughout the quilt.

Several people mentioned that this is the same block used in Chandelier quilts and that is true … only this quilt is easier because it’s not set on point.
This afternoon we did a Home Depot run to order a new washer and had dinner out. It finally stopped raining by the time we got home so I took my boys for a little walk up and down the street!

Is Keith finding it awkward to eat using his left hand? Good that you can get out for a stroll.
Your fabrics are so pretty, I love a good blue batik. I have made a chandelier quilt before and will make one again but I like this version too. Hope Keith is feeling OK after the surgery. Spring is in the air now so I imagine there will be many walks.
I love the raindrop quilt and the fabric choice.
I pray Keith is healing without too much difficulty.
It is great seeing you all out and about.
Looks like everything is going great! Keep up the good work.
Nice job on the even distribution of the limited fabrics, Mary. This is going to be a lovely quilt!
Sounds like a good day out!!!
