I’ve had problems with my washer for months and we finally got around to replacing it. The new one was delivered this morning …. They got it all installed and went to turn it on and it wouldn’t turn on … completely dead. They brought the old washer back in and set it back up and now we’ll have to wait a week or so to get a new one.
Oh no! how frustrating. I have a Speed Queen washer & dryer. The set is about 9 yrs. old. Never had a problem with them. They are supposed to last forever—according to the dealer. I can’t see what brand you have in your picture. I hope the next new one is better. This happening makes you wonder?
I have a Speed Queen as well. Really like them and have had them about 5 years now and never had a problem. I heard the same thing about their long life span. Mary I hope you get your new washer soon! We don’t realize how much we use them until we have to do without for a while.
I had that happen too. You are looking forward to using your new machine and then it doesn’t work! Thank goodness they test it before they leave your home. How can they leave the factory and not be tested to see that they run correctly!

That’s weird! Never heard of that happening. Good luck with the new one when it arrives.
What a disappointment, and a hassle for you. When we replaced our dishwasher a couple years ago they tried to install the one I bought, only to discover the electrical outlet for it was in the wrong spot. So we had to switch models completely and waited a day or two.
You’re right. Darn! In a week or so you’ll have moved on and forgotten all about this inconvenience.
One of our nephews used to work for a company that picked up used or dead appliances. You would be surprised by how many of the dead ones were brand new out of the box.
That has got to be frustrating,years ago I returned a blouse & they put the one I brought back in the sack not only once but twice,the 3rd time I kept my hand on it🤣
It seems that the last check up at the end of the production line had not be done… Quality control those days is awful.
Oh, that is such bad luck. I never heard of that happening but I guess it does – you are proof of it! Hope the new one works just right!

I hope you have a new one by now. Our dishwasher went and had a code we never saw before. So bless your heart. May all be well.
