I was out most of the afternoon but I did get a couple hours downstairs today and the Rectangle quilt from the leftovers is assembled.

I also pulled some fabrics for some quick quilts … I’ve got blankets and the doll/bear quilts ready to donate to Safe Path but I want to throw a couple quilts in there too. One of these will be a Strippie, one will be Happy Blocks …. And I’m not sure what the 3rd set will become.

And look what came in the mail today – Ann had my name for our last family exchange and she appliqued/embroidered this for me. I’m not sure where she got the idea to mount these on the clipboards but I’ve wanted one ever since she made one for Chris. What an easy way to display a small project.

I love the geraniums, they are so pretty. Your family is very talented.
Love the clipboard idea.
Love it!
Love your gift from Ann, so creative. I’m envious. She put a lot of time into it. Double thumbs up. Your donation items are such a labor of love, kudos to your mom.
Busy, as always, Mary! Enjoy your lovely gift from Ann.
The clipboard idea may have been inspired by Michaels. They have smaller ones. It is a beautiful and thoughtful gift.
The Rectangle quilt has such a punch! The clipboard is a nice display idea.
And what a great looking clipboard too. I like the idea…
