Jane has been repaired and was ready for pickup so we called Chris to see if he wanted to meet us for lunch … it’s always a great day when I get to see my girls!
Then this afternoon I played in my strings … I have just a couple more blocks to make for the Strips and Strings Rail Fence quilt and then it will be ready for assembly.
What luck to be able to meet Chris and the girls on the trip to pick up Jane from being serviced. Even better that you got some sewing time, too!
I must have missed the Jane needing repairs. It’s so inconvenient to be without one’s automobile. Your “girls” are certainly growing up fast.
What a good day – lunch with the girls and picking up a repaired machine. Doesn’t get much better than that. I had supper with one daughter’s family last night after the costume fitting with Olivia. My daughter is a really good cook.
