This one started out as a rail fence but I didn’t like how the zigzags were looking so I set the blocks straight and offset the fabrics to create the diagonal flow.
I also debated about the border but I was using fabric from a kit ( not using the pattern) and it’s what I had here so I went with it.
I do like the border print … just debated whether it was too pastel for the rest of the quilt … but now that I’m done I think it looks fine.

I like the way you oriented the fabric pattern in the border so the houses are all right-side-up. the offset looks good, too.
I like it and it is a quick solution to the problem. I am impressed!
It looks really good. I just never think about setting Rail Fence blocks like this instead of zig zag. Great plan!
