Yes, I do still sew … I’m missing the Maine sew-in so I’ll be working along from home this week … when I’m not running to medical appointments!
Today, I got the Windmill blocks finished and up on the design wall. I’ve got appointments the next couple days and since I live out in the boonies … it takes up a good chunk of my day but I’ll get started on the assembly of this one. I might move a block or two around first – it’s a challenge when you’re just using 4 colors to distribute them well.

Hi, Mary! I’ve often wondered if there is a computer program available to tell you how to delegate 4 colors evenly over the rows and columns that you have. Do you know of one (with all of your many contacts? Let me know, please. Seems like it would be a handy thing to have in your back pocket. pj stitches! (It’s what I do..daily!) (formally from Minneapolis, Minne-snow-ta!)
Good luck with your doctor’s appointments. You are in my prayers.
A photographer friend suggested taking a photo of your quilt and then look at the photo w hi ole changing the gradations. Helps show if something needs to be moved
Such a pretty color palette. You’ll have it done before you know it.
Love these colors. The border fabric looks great with it.
My phone just went thru an update and out of nowhere I received a notification for this post. I’m in Maine and just picked up quilting…wondering where this sew-in is. 🤓 Not that I’ll make it or am even invited…just curious.
I like that border fabric that you picked for this happy quilt. Good luck on your appointments!
