Crochet

I started this blanket before my surgery in August and pulled it out this afternoon and worked on it a while after I finished in the sewing room … I’m at the point I need an upstairs and a downstairs yarn’y project so this might just get finished!

It’s a simple shell stitch and the pattern is found free at this link.

Now, I’m going to work on one of the knit hats for donation and listen to my audiobook!

  1. I used to keep an upstairs knitting project, a downstairs knitting project, and an on-the-go knitting project. Alas, I have transformed into a social knitter and rarely knit outside the house. Happy stitching!

  2. I believe I have the yarn and this pattern from Attic24 blog. I made one similar to yours probably about 50 years ago and it turned out so nice, I made 4 more! I’m sure your edges line up much better than mine though.

  3. my daughter has taken up crochet with a vengeance! she started with scarves for everyone she knows practically and her husband’s boss-he works in a hospital–mentioned little hats for newborns so off she went for pink and blue yarn and is going gangbusters on those…and she got red/white yard for candy cane hats for christmas…she is in yarn heaven!
